2019 Haul – Over 1000 Pounds
We have bulk Terlingua Calcite for sale! Try to find real Terlingua Calcite anywhere else. You can probably find some small pieces of “Terlingua-Type” or “Terlingua-Like” calcite. You might even find a small piece of real Terlingua Calcite here and there. But if you need or want any decent size or quantity of this material, you’ve come to the right place.
The Terlingua Calcite shown above is from our trips to Terlingua in 2019 and 2022. We took these pictures soon after we unloaded the rocks. They still had all the dust and dirt they had accumulated from sitting out in the desert. We’ve sold lots of these rocks already, but still have well over a thousand pounds available. And we have them in all sizes and quality ranges. The bulk Terlingua Calcite available is mostly average to better quality pieces. They may have bruising, weathering, scarring or contain different types of matrix. But we guarantee nice fluorescence in each piece.
The pieces range from golf ball size (or smaller, if that’s what you want) to well over 10 pounds+. The larger sizes (~4-5 pounds and up) are more rare. They are more likely to be better, or to produce better pieces if broken up. Every variation of Terlingua Calcite is likely to occur in each lot but is not guaranteed. Some of the different variations are: daylight pink, daylight green, triangular areas of bright fluorescence, hydrocarbon inclusions (yellow fluorescence) and multi-colored long wave fluorescence. With some effort: cleaning, splitting, trimming or polishing, for example, pieces in each lot could become premium quality specimens. You’ll probably get some good stuff right out of the box!
Prices and how to purchase bulk Terlingua Calcite
Prices start at $25.00 per pound, with a minimum of 5 pounds. Lots below 5 pounds are available, but start at $30.00 per pound. Larger pieces are more rare and will likely be better pieces, and/or produce better pieces if trimmed, broken up, etc., so we might price them higher. Maybe/maybe not. It depends. Contact us with what you’re thinking about, and we’ll see what we can do. If you’d like prettier or better quality pieces, we can do that too. Just let us know.
